Great weather and large crowds at this year’s Thomasville Memorial Day Parade which is one of the largest in North Carolina.  We had 15 subvets from the Carolina Piedmont, Nat Greene, and Tarheel Bases along with several guests including Ma Bell.  Ma rode shotgun in Jerry Lepparts’ truck that pulled the Mk-14 Torpedo Float.  As is the tradition in past parades, veterans led the parade carrying 50 American Flags that were than displayed at the entrance to the city park as shown in one of the provided pictures.
