Kay Patterson (Dale’s Wife) called Donnie Hall Oct. 14th to inform him that Dale died on 10/3/2024. He was the oldest member in the Nat Greene Base at age 92. Dale qualified on the USS Charr (SS-328 in 1949. Dale joined the Navy in 1947 and retired 1968. He joined Nat Greene Base July 24, 2010 and became a life member of USSVI August 12, 2010.
Ships served: AS-12, SS-328,SS-396 and SS-391.
Dale also served onboard USNS Kingsport as a member of USN R&D Sat. Comm Group (64-66) and USS Annapolis (AGMR-1) off the coast of NAM.
