IN THE CARE OF-Elliott Sons Funeral Home
Michael C. Adams 82 Current of Augusta, GA Passed Away on: August 12, 2024.
He was born on September 4, 1941 Formerly of Royal Oak, MI. Mike graduated high school with a
strong desire to see the world. His 22 year Naval career gave him that opportunity as well as some
pocket change along the way. Through his travels he met his beloved English wife Ann, in which they
just celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary. To know Mike is to know of his love for his family and
fellow man, anything with an engine, and fishing. Mike was involved in the Denizens of the Deep
where if you needed to hear some tall tales and some great stories you have found your place. He also
loved going on the open road seeing all that our country has to offer. In fact, he has ridden his
motorcycles in all 50 states. His adventurous spirit and ease in talking to anyone is what drew people
in. In his presence you were seen and hopefully heard, but knew you would have to listen to his stories
too. He endeavored over the years to make sure his family always knew he was there and he cared for
them no matter the distance. Mike also took his faith seriously. He wanted others to know that they
were loved, and he showed this by being the hands and feet of Christ. You would often find him serving
others, and giving them a laugh. The loss of Mike will always be felt by all the lives he touched.
Mike is preceded in death by Father and Mother John and Blanche Adams and his oldest brother John
Adams (Delores 1st wife) and his second brother Robert Adams (Marilyn) and his nephew Philip
