It is with a deep sense of sadness, that I report the passing of Charles C. Cross, one of the founding members of the initial North Carolina Subvets Base, the Tarheel Base.
Charles passed late last week, and the funeral arrangements are as follows:
Thursday, July 28, 2022, with visitation at 1:00 pm, and the funeral at 2:00 pm, at the Westford United Methodist Church, 273 State Hwy 49, Concord, NC. the family requested no military honors at the church, just our attendance.
Interment will be on Tuesday August 2, 2022, at the Salisbury National Cemetery, Salisbury, NC. the family has requested military honors with this service. details to follow.
